In the fall, Trinity will welcome six students to the College who are members of the inaugural cohort of , a prestigious new scholarship program for Canadian undergraduates at the University of Toronto. The Wolf Scholars program is designed to develop future thoughtful and ambitious Canadian leaders. The University of Toronto and the Wolf Cooper Foundation created the Wolf Scholars Program to support future Canadian leaders poised to meet today’s challenges in a rapidly changing world. Delivered with the Faculty of Arts & Science and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, the program prepares students for meaningful careers and leadership roles in Canada and beyond. Name: Grace Chen
Hometown: Ottawa, Ontario Academic focus: Social Sciences Grace Chen is interested in exploring the intersection of economics, ethics and policy-making, complemented by an ongoing interest in the physical sciences. In high school, she cofounded LitSpark Youth, a nonprofit aiming to bridge the literacy gap in her community. By working with local organizations, charities, and volunteers, Grace has helped improve access to literacy tools by redistributing books to children and families in need. Throughout university, she hopes to further explore these interests through interdisciplinary study and continued community engagement. Outside of her academic pursuits and commitment to community service, Grace enjoys reading, journaling, listening to music, and spending time with her younger sister. She is also an avid Go player, drawn to the strategy of the ancient Chinese board game. |

Name: Bianca Grossi
Hometown: Halifax, Nova Scotia Academic focus: Social Sciences Bianca Grossi aims to study International Relations and Public Policy with a keen interest in how cultural institutions can serve as a bridge to forge connection and understanding on a national and global stage. In secondary school, Bianca developed a French language support program, Premier Pas, to assist Middle School students who are new to the language. She is also an avid Cross Country and Track and Field runner who has competed both provincially and nationally and will proudly join the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. Bianca served as Co-Lead of her Model UN Club, supported fellow students in their running pursuits and designed a permanent mural revitalizing her school’s mascot, the Halifax Grammar School Gryphon. She has developed a profound appreciation for the role that mentorship has played in her growth as a student and athlete, and she will bring this forward in all of her future endeavours. Outside of her academic and athletic pursuits, Bianca also enjoys attending local markets, creating high-realism charcoal portraits and spending time travelling and cooking with her family. |

Name: Emmeline Pinnock
Hometown: Stanley, New Brunswick Academic focus: Social Sciences Emmeline Pinnock plans to study Social Sciences, with a particular interest in International Relations and how she can impact how we all work together in this changing world. Despite being from a small rural town, Emmeline challenged herself to broaden her perspective and global understanding by spending a year abroad and connecting with other students from around the world. In high school, Emmeline worked in a multitude of student leadership positions, locally with her Student Council and other initiatives, and regionally with her School District’s Council of Student Leaders. These leadership roles allowed Emmeline to turn her ideas into actions, creating positive change, not just in her community but also in others. Emmeline has a wide variety of interests, being involved in several sports, theatre, Envirothon, and more. Outside of school, she challenges herself with creative endeavours from sketching and painting to creative writing and wool felting. Her creativity extends to fashion, where she loves thrifting and giving new life to yesterday’s styles in a fun, joyful way. Emmeline has a true lust for life; she loves to meet new people, explore, and learn new things. |

Name: Camilo Sierra de Rojas
Hometown: Toronto, Ontario Academic focus: Life Sciences Born in Santiago, Chile, Camilo Sierra de Rojas eagerly awaits to study life sciences, with a key curiosity centered around how animals and their physiology can help better human lives. In high school, he actively joined school initiatives such as Model UN, DECA and Student Council, where he advocated for diverse dialogue and pushed for improvements to better the secondary experience of his fellow schoolmates. He also spent two years at SickKids as a patient advisor, where he both gained and provided insight to many impactful programs at the hospital. Outside of his school and extracurriculars, Camilo is an avid explorer and nature enthusiast always ready to embark on an adventure into the wild, appreciating the beauty that lies beyond civilization. |

Name: Sadie Sullivan
Hometown: Fredericton, New Brunswick Academic focus: Social Sciences Sadie Sullivan she is thrilled to have the opportunity to take on Toronto as a Wolf Scholar. She plans to study political science and history, and she is particularly interested in Canadian history, linguistics, and international affairs. Sadie worked as a lighting technician and stage manager of her local community theater as a high school student and spent four summers as a camp counselor at the University of New Brunswick, teaching art, fashion, and technology skills. Through these experiences, she found herself drawn toward leadership roles, hoping to share her skills with others, and learn new ones from them. In her free time, Sadie is an avid visual artist who loves anything crafty, from painting to knitting to colour-coding her bookshelf. On sunny days, she loves to sit on her porch with a cup of tea and a thick science-fiction book. |

Name: Declan Walsh
Hometown: St. John’s, Newfoundland Academic focus: Social Sciences Declan Walsh will be studying political science for his undergraduate degree, where he hopes to develop a greater understanding of the range of political ideologies, how governments obtain and maintain their power, and how that power impacts citizenry. Declan has spent his entire life playing tennis, where he has competed at the national level and is currently a coach at his home club. Off the court, Declan seeks to share his love of tennis through his non-profit organization, Open Courts Foundation, which breaks down the financial barriers of sport programming for youth in his province. In his spare time, Declan loves to play guitar and listen to music. He is an avid traveller and is always up for an adventure to explore new parts of the world. He is an active participant and Board member with the Newfoundland and Labrador Youth Parliament. He also enjoys reading political and economic non-fiction, allowing him to consider multiple perspectives and opinions on how our world operates. |
