Universities Canada:聽Trinity College is a member institution of (formerly the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada), as is the University of Toronto, with which Trinity is federated.
Association of Theological Schools:聽Trinity College’s Faculty of Divinity is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the in the United States and Canada.
Trinity College Faculty of Divinity鈥檚 accreditation was last reviewed in 2022, and in January 2023, the Board of Commissioners reaffirmed Trinity College Faculty of Divinity鈥檚 accreditation through March 31, 2030, and approved its degree programs:
- Master of Divinity (MDiv)
- Master of Theological Studies (MTS)
- Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MA)
- Master of Theology (ThM)
- Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
- and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The Board recognized strengths in inclusivity, social justice, and collaboration with the Toronto School of Theology, while identifying priorities in recruitment, distance education, and advanced-degree enrollment.

Master of Divinity (data collected between 2018 and 2022)

- Ratio of admissions/applications in 2019: 81%
- Percentage of Acceptances Enrolled in 2019: 89%
- In 2019 the positive placement rate for the MDiv was 83%
- Between 2018 and 2022:
- 97% of graduates indicated that they felt their intellectual and spiritual life and/or ministry would be enriched by their M.Div. studies;
- 88% graduates indicated that if given the choice, they would choose the M.Div at Trinity again;
- 91% of graduates would recommend Trinity M.Div. program to others interested in formal theological study leading to ordination/professional ministry.

- Ratio of admissions/applications in 2019: 100%
- Percentage of Acceptances Enrolled in 2019: 78%
- Between 2018 and 2022:
- 97% of graduates indicated that they felt their intellectual and spiritual life and/or ministry would be enriched by their MTS studies;
- 94% graduates indicated that if given the choice, they would choose the MTS at Trinity again;
- 96.6% of graduates would recommend Trinity MTS program to others interested in general theological
education.
